Privacy Policy

Elyvix LLC (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") recognizes the importance of protecting customers’ personal information and establishes the following Basic Policy (Privacy Policy) regarding the handling of privacy-related information by the Company.

Article 1 (Definitions)

  1. In this Privacy Policy, "User Information" means information related to the identification of a user, behavioral history on communication services, and other information generated or accumulated in connection with the order of printed materials, which is collected by the Company under this Privacy Policy.
  2. Among "User Information", "Personal Information" means "personal information" as defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.

Article 2 (Collection of Information)

  1. The Company may collect the following information when a user uses the Company’s services or makes a reservation to use them, for the purposes set forth in Article 3:
    • (1) Information about the application content when registering for the Company’s services
    • (2) Information about devices
    • (3) Information about access logs
    • (4) Information about cookies
    • (5) Other information entered in forms designated by the Company, such as email addresses
  2. Regarding the use of cookie information in the preceding paragraph, users shall use the Service after agreeing to the following:
    • (1) When a user accesses a website managed by the Company to use the Service, the Company may send one or more cookies from the Company’s servers to the user’s device.
    • (2) In order to customize the Service for each user, the Company may access and use cookies sent by the Company that are stored on the user’s device.
    • (3) If the user does not consent to the Company’s use of cookies, deletes the cookies, or refuses or limits the cookie function through browser or device settings, all or part of the Service may become unavailable.
    • (4) Third-party advertising distributors such as Geniee, Google, Yahoo, i-mobile, AMoAd, nend, etc. may use cookies and similar technologies to deliver display advertising based on the browsing history of users browsing the Company’s service site (including advertising delivery via ad networks), and the above third-party advertising distributors and their partners may display advertising to users based on access information to the Company’s service site and other sites. Cookie information acquired by such third-party advertising distributors is handled in accordance with the privacy policy of the relevant third party.
    • (5) Users may access the opt-out page provided within the website of the third-party advertising distributor of the preceding paragraph to prevent the third-party advertising distributor and ad networks from using cookie information. However, disabling cookies may make some functions of the Company’s service unavailable.

Article 3 (Purpose of Use of Information)

The Company uses User Information for the following purposes:

  1. To provide the Service
  2. To accept registrations, verify identity, and provide, maintain, protect and improve the Service
  3. To respond to notifications and inquiries regarding the Service
  4. To respond to acts that violate the Company’s terms, this Privacy Policy, etc. (hereinafter "Terms, etc.") regarding the Service
  5. To notify of changes to Terms, etc. regarding the Service
  6. To create statistical data processed into a form that does not identify individuals in connection with the Service
  7. To make announcements from the Company, such as service launches and campaigns
  8. To deliver or display advertisements of the Company or third parties
  9. To investigate and analyze the usage status of the Service
  10. Other acts incidental to the above purposes of use

Article 4 (Provision of Information to Third Parties)

The Company will not provide Personal Information among User Information to third parties without obtaining the user’s prior consent, except where disclosure is permitted under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws. However, the following cases are exceptions:

  1. When the Company entrusts all or part of the handling of User Information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
  2. When User Information is provided due to succession of business due to a merger or other reasons
  3. When User Information is jointly used with a specific party, and the fact, the items of User Information to be jointly used, the scope of the parties jointly using it, the purpose of use of the parties, and the name of the person responsible for the management of the User Information have been notified to the person in advance, or have been placed in a state that the person can easily know

Article 5 (Disclosure and Deletion of Personal Information)

When requested by a user to disclose Personal Information based on the provisions of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the Company, after confirming that the request is from the user him/herself, will respond to the user without delay (if such Personal Information does not exist, the Company will notify to that effect). For these requests, please contact the Company’s inquiry window. However, this does not apply when the Company is not obligated to disclose or delete under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws. For User Information that does not constitute Personal Information, the Company does not, in principle, disclose or delete it.

Article 6 (Correction and Suspension of Use of Personal Information)

  1. In the following cases, the Company, after confirming that the request is from the user him/herself, conducts necessary investigations, corrects or suspends the use of the personal information based on the results, and notifies the user accordingly. However, if the Company decides not to correct or suspend the use based on reasonable grounds, the Company will notify the user to that effect:
    • (1) When a user, on the grounds that the Personal Information is not true, requests correction of its contents based on the provisions of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information
    • (2) When a user, on the grounds that the information is being handled beyond the scope of a publicly announced purpose of use or that it was collected through deception or other wrongful means, requests suspension of its use based on the provisions of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information
  2. The preceding paragraph does not apply when the Company is not obligated to correct or suspend use under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws.
  3. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, if suspension of use of Personal Information requires significant expense or is otherwise difficult to carry out, and alternative measures necessary to protect the rights and interests of the user can be taken, the Company shall take such alternative measures in lieu of the suspension of use.

Article 7 (Procedure for Changing the Privacy Policy)

The Company will, as appropriate, review its operational status regarding the handling of User Information, strive for continuous improvement, and may revise this Privacy Policy as necessary.

When this Privacy Policy is changed, the revised Privacy Policy will be notified. However, if the user’s consent is legally required for the change to this Privacy Policy, the Company shall obtain the user’s consent by a method prescribed by the Company.
